West End Park as Public Park
West End Park spans from the Basin Canal to Lake Pontchartrain to be used as a Public Park or Amusement Park per Act 209 of 1906. Three to one matching funds are available to improve the park via the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
Housing is not Permitted
Act 209 of 1906 does not permit housing units in West End Park.
